Why does the camera require HTTPS?
Browsers only allow camera access on secure origins (https) or localhost.

Does my video leave the device?
No. Processing is local to your browser via WebGL/canvas.

Why is performance different across devices?
GPUs and mobile browsers vary. Disable heavier effects (Bloom/CRT) if needed.
