About SarahwebFX

SarahwebFX is a browser-based playground for glitch visuals and real-time experiments—built by Tom for Sarah, inspired by her love of bold, experimental aesthetics.

What it does

• Distortion Lab: Live WebGL effects (VHS, CRT, RGB split, bloom, kaleidoscope, ripple, pixel sort, trails, light leaks, and more).
• ASCII Generator: Converts your camera to live ASCII art with multiple character sets (classic, numbers, Latin, Cyrillic, Kana, Braille).
• Shuffle & Stack: Combine effects and shuffle their order for wild, unexpected results.

How it works

The Lab runs on WebGL shaders and a ping-pong render pipeline. The ASCII view uses a canvas readback to map brightness → characters. Camera frames stay local to your device.

• More effect controls and presets
• Optional export tools (images/clips—browser-only)
• Mobile UI refinements
• Possibly user-scripted mini effects in a sandbox
